As day two of the 2017 North/East Roofing Contractors Association Convention kicks off, here's a schedule of the day's events.

8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall – Credential Pickup
o If you are at the Convention and haven’t already picked up your credentials you can do so this morning.

8:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. Seminar – Crane Safety, Crane Certification, State Crane License Requirements, Crane Regulations, and the Anatomy of a Crane Accident with Jay Sturm of Sturm Corp.
o Mr. Sturm will review the state license requirements in all NERCA states, discuss compliance issues, review the operator’s responsibilities, the company’s responsibilities and certification requirements. The presentation on crane accidents is highly recommended for all owners of any type of crane.

1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall – Convention Floor Opening
o The Convention floor opens at 1:00 p.m. each day. If you aren’t attending the seminars, make your way down to be the first to see the vendor booths.

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Luncheon – NERCA’s Annual Business Meeting & Luncheon with guest speaker Adam Greenberg sponsored by ABC Supply Company
o The Clarence J. Carr Roofing Industry Annual Award will be presented to NERCA’s Outstanding Member of 2016 and the 20th Annual Thomas S. Gunning Membership Recruitment Award as well. 

o A short greeting from Reid Ribble the CEO of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and Dennis Conway the NRCA President.

o Finally, keynote speaker Adam Greenberg will discuss his life experiences overcoming a 94 mph first-pitch fastball to the back of the head which set back his major league career.

o This is a ticketed event – tickets are $45 per person

1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall Floor – North East Roofing Educational Foundation’s Silent Auction
o All day long the silent auction will feature some amazing prizes to benefit NERCA’s scholarship fund NEREF. Stop by as you tour the convention floor and bid on some of the items.

7:00 – 11:00 p.m. The Pool at Harrah’s Resort – Roofing Industry Night sponsored by Beacon Sales Co., Quality Roofing Supply Co., and Carlisle Syntec Systems
o Located at the Pool at Harrah’s. When you walk into the outdoor oasis, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a tropical hideaway, after dark it’s home to the hottest club scene in Atlantic City. Enjoy some cocktails and listen to music, or sit and chat with old friends. There will be plenty of food and refreshments.

o This is a ticketed event – tickets are $75 per person.
