Metalmaster Roofmaster, Inc. Promotes David G. Kozial to Executive Vice President

On November 1, 2015,On November 1, 2015, Metalmaster Roofmaster, Inc., (Metalmaster) a McHenry based corporation, recognized as one of the largest commercial roofing and sheet metal contractors in North America announced the promotion of David G. Kozial to Executive Vice President. Coinciding with the promotion, the company also proudly celebrates their 38th Anniversary in the month of November.

McHENRY, Ill. — Metalmaster Roofmaster, Inc., one of the largest commercial roofing and sheet metal contractors in North America, recently promoted David G. Kozial to Executive Vice President. The promotion also coincides with the company's 38th anniversary in the month of November.

As Metalmaster grew over the years, a new entity, Sno Gem, Inc., was developed in 1994. Shortly thereafter, David joined the Smeja umbrella of companies in 1998 as the company’s accounting manager. As the company grew, so did David's responsibilities. He became comptroller and then vice president of finance and personnel. In his new position, David will be actively involved in the management of the various companies’ operations, financial management, human resources, and strategic management.

As the Smeja family looks to the future and their continued growth in various markets, David will play a key role in the development of their newest divisions. The Smeja entities currently include six companies and most recently, Limitless Innovations, Inc. was added to the umbrella.

David was born in Des Plaines, Ill. and moved to McHenry County to attend Marion Central High School. He earned his undergraduate degree and in 1993, his MBA from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, David earned his CMA prior to joining Metalmaster. Before his tenure with Metalmaster, David became a financial analyst for Sundstrand Corp, a Fortune 500 Defense Contractor. David continues to be a long-time resident of McHenry County where he enjoys playing golf and spending his free time with his wife of 16 years, Patty, three children and three grandchildren.
