WASHINGTON — Attendees of the 2015 Polyurethanes Technical Conference only have a short time left to take advantage of professional opportunities, discounts and promotion options. Hosted by the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI), the 58th annual conference will be held Oct. 5-7, 2015 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando.

“Each year, the Polyurethanes Technical Conference attracts the best and brightest in our industry,” said Lee Salamone, senior director of CPI. “Attendees should seriously consider how they can make the most out of the experience by taking advantage of everything the conference has to offer.”

Some such opportunities have limited availability remaining, including Innovation Award nominations, poster abstract submissions, registration discounts, sponsorships and exhibition spaces.

• Attendees interested in submitting poster abstracts should do so before Aug. 3. Criteria for acceptance include originality and relevance of the topic. At the conference’s Closing Session, awards will be presented for the best presentation of a technical poster in its technical category. Submissions can be made here.

• Registration discounts for attendees will expire on Sept. 4, while hotel-block discounts run out on Sept. 11. Both CPI members and non-members interested in attending the conference can take advantage of the $200 discount on registration by visiting the conference website. Registered attendees can receive a $220 discount on rooms at the Gaylord Palms by calling the hotel at 1-877-382-7299 and mentioning the conference, or by visiting CPI’s reservations page.

• Companies can also still leverage the conference to reach potential customers using sponsorships and table-top exhibits. Several are still available, including: the conference proceedings flash drive; the popular Industry Reception; the Closing Session; the conference wi-fi; technical sessions; and advertising opportunities on the S.S. Gaylord sail logo projection, a fountain wrap, and a mobile app banner. More information on sponsorships is available here, and details about exhibiting is available here.
