Shaffner Heaney Associates Meets Qualifications for MCM Fabricator Certification Program
GLENVIEW, Ill. — Shaffner Heaney Associates Inc. of South Bend, Ind., has met the qualifications of the Metal Construction Association (MCA) Premium MCM Fabricator Certification Program. To qualify for the program, fabricators must meet specific standards in the areas of experience, services, systems, and financial strength to help assure premium performance for metal panels.
“We were encouraged to apply by associates already involved in the MCA,” said Craig Heaney, vice president of operations. “After attending an MCA meeting in August where we witnessed first hand the dedication and effort being put forth by the MCA to support and expand the Premium MCM Certification program, we were sold.”
“Shaffner Heaney intends to use this certification alongside and in conjunction with other Premium MCM fabricators to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace as the standard in terms of MCM fabrication and installation. We look forward to being part of the program,” Heaney added.
Founded in 1970, Shaffner Heaney Associates, Inc. is a wall panel manufacturer specializing in custom wall systems and building panel systems.
The company joins MCA company members Custom Metal Contracting Ltd., Firestone Metal Products, Miller Clapperton, NOW Specialties, Inc., and Sobotec Ltd. in meeting the stringent program requirements.
