By 1985, he was manufacturing every product required for a custom gutter installation except the nails and screws. In 1997, Jim decided that together with his five children, he would focus on the gutter protection portion of the business, and he founded Midwest Enterprises.

Today, Midwest Enterprises manufactures 15 types of gutter protection products and sells them nationally through a wide network of distributors. With more than 33,000 square feet of manufacturing capability under roof, they are able to produce 10 million feet of product annually. The company is still family owned and operated — three generations work together to manage the company and carry it into a successful future.
