ROSEMONT, Ill. — Tecta America Corp. announces several organization changes. Kent Schwickert, president of Schwickerts, Tecta America’s Mankato, Minnesota operation, will fulfill the role of regional managing president of the East region. In this position, Schwickert will work closely with national sales leadership, operating unit presidents and regional sales teams to implement project execution performance improvement plans. He also will be responsible for developing and maintaining senior level customer relationships.

Schwickert joined the company in 1982 as an estimator and project manager and was promoted to President of Schwickert’s Rochester, Minnesota Office and Operations Manger of Schwickert’s Mankato office in 1985. Shortly after, he became president of both offices and shared responsibilities with his brother Kim Schwickert. He is currently a member of the President’s Council of Tecta America along with serving on various other operating committees.

In the Midwest, Ken Flickinger will fulfill the role of Midwest regional managing president, using his technical expertise and strong focus to ensure profitable performance of operating units within the region. He also will be expected to implement successful regional service sales programs that drive organic growth. Previously, Ken had worked at Sarnafil for six years, but then ventured out in 2000 to start his own manufacturer’s rep firm in the roofing industry.

Bryan Adams has been hired as the Tecta America East Operating Unit President where he will utilize his extensive background in facilities and construction management, customer service and operational efficiency to provide leadership and vision to position the company at the forefront of the industry. He will also develop strategies to fuel revenue and profitable growth. Prior to this position, Adams worked at Jacobs Engineering as a program manager where he managed more than 200 facilities for the California Administrative Offices of the Court. Previous employers also include CBRE/Trammel Crow and Facilities Management.
