Tecta America Corporation, a commercial roofing contracting and environmental
roofing solutions firm, announced its fifth annual academic scholarship award
roster, this year comprised of 28 recipients.

Tecta America Corporation, a commercial roofing contracting and
environmental roofing solutions firm, announced its fifth annual academic
scholarship award roster, this year comprised of 28 recipients.
In order to be considered, applicants must be the son or
daughter of a Tecta America employee who has been with the company a minimum of
one year.
The scholarship committee thoroughly reviews each
application, which includes academic performance, financial need and letters of
recommendation, before mailing an award letter.
This year’s scholarship recipients include: Jorge Montoya
to Art Institute of California; Tanya Vincent to University of California -Santa
Barbara; Amanda Bialek to Rutgers; Amy Cookfair to SUNY; Kelsey Graefen to
University of Dubuque; Isaac Hale to Olivet Nazarene University; Alex Narvaiz to
Columbia State CC; Dmitriy Bikmayev to Ohio State; Haley Mahan to Concordia
University; Jose Peregrino to Diablo Valley College; Edward Reyes to Florida
Atlantic University; William Simone to SUNY; Taylor Stark to Northern Kentucky
University.
Repeat 2011 scholarship recipients include: Beth
Calvanese to Ramapo College of New Jersey; Alison Peymann to Augustana College; Humera Syed to Marquette University; Cassie Trinka to University of St. Francis; Kyle Hochuli to University
of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; Kaci Krause to Winona State University; Martin Toebe to
University of Washington; Lauren Winant to University of Central Florida; Amanda
Groff to Northern Illinois University; Morgan Richie to Northeastern University;
Kaylee Kracht to Washington State University; Jordan Benesh to Arizona State
University; Katie Timm to University of Minnesota; Kayla Austin to University of
Texas –Austin; and Hans Langschwager to Florida Community College.
This year, the company awarded $40,000 in scholarships to
be distributed amongst the recipients. Each student will receive a minimum of
$1,000 toward their education, which will be available during the fall 2011
semester.
