ATAS Projects of the Year Revealed at Customer Appreciation Day

ATAS International, Inc., a manufacturer of metal roofing, wall and ceiling panels for commercial and residential applications, recently held its annual Customer Appreciation Day.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. –ATAS International, Inc., a manufacturer of metal roofing, wall and ceiling panels for commercial and residential applications, recently held its annual Customer Appreciation Day.

ATAS invited customers to its headquarters to celebrate a year of successes. Participants toured the ATAS headquarters in Allentown, as well as Brightsmith Coil Coaters, a sister company of ATAS located in Morrisville, Pa.; explored booths that showcased the latest ATAS products and educational materials; and participated in a golf tournament and sporting clays competition.

During the State of the Industry & Awards Ceremony Dinner, ATAS announced the winners of its annual Project of the Year awards. Awards are given in four categories: Commercial Roofs, Commercial Walls, Residential Roofs and Residential Walls. To qualify, all projects must have been completed during 2010 and must feature ATAS products. The winners are:

Commercial Roofs
First Place: St. Leon Cathedral of the Western Dioceses of Burbank, Burbank, Calif. Architect, 2K Forum Inc./Kaaren Khoudikian, Glendale, Calif.; distributor, Blue Diamond Supply, Grand Terrace, Calif.; installer, Cal Pac Sheet Metal, Santa Ana, Calif.; product, Dutch Seam (MRD150) in Coppertone. Second Place: RdV Vineyards, Delaplane, Va. Architect, Neumann Lewis Buchanan Architects, Middleburg, Va.; distributor, Bradco Supply, Roanoke, Va.; installer, Skyline Roofing Inc., Harrisonburg, Va.; product, Field Lok (FLL217) in Black. Third Place: Tennessee Williams Home and Welcome Center, Columbus, Miss. Architect, Pryor & Morrow Architects and Engineers P.A., Columbus; distributor ABC Supply Inc., Birmingham, Ala.; installer, Rick Williams Construction Co. Inc., Columbus; product, CastleTop (HCT160) in Mission Red.

Commercial Walls
First Place: Needham Public Safety Building, Needham, Mass.
