CertainTeed Launches Landmark PWR Solar Roof
New integrated solar shingle combines roofing and energy generation
CertainTeed has launched Landmark PWR, an integrated solar roofing system that combines residential roof protection and renewable energy generation while simplifying installation and service for contractors.
Built around CertainTeed's Landmark roofing portfolio, Landmark PWR uses an 85-watt solar shingle that can be individually removed for servicing. The system has a low-profile appearance and can be installed with a variety of roofing materials around the solar array, giving contractors flexibility in roof design.
Landmark PWR carries a Class A fire rating and Class 3 hail/impact rating. It is compatible with a selection of module-level power electronics solutions and is backed by a 25-year CertainTeed warranty.
CertainTeed said the system will make its official industry debut at the Western Roofing Expo in Las Vegas.
