Roofing Technology Think Tank (RT3) has appointed Brad Strawbridge, founder and CEO of Capital City Roofing and co-founder and CEO of BuilderLync, to its board of directors.

RT3, an industry group focused on advancing technology adoption in roofing, said Strawbridge will help guide the organization's efforts to educate contractors and promote technology solutions across the industry.

“The roofing industry is at a technology inflection point, and most contractors are still watching from the sideline,” Strawbridge said in a statement. “RT3 is the room where that gets changed.”

Karen Edwards, RT3 executive director, said Strawbridge brings both a passion for technology and industry experience to the board.

“Brad is bringing his passion for technology and love of the industry to the organization,” Edwards said. “We are excited to have him be part of our leadership team.”

Other board members continuing their service are President Wendy Marvin of Matrix Roofing & Home Solutions; Treasurer John Kenney of Cotney Consulting Group; Jon Gardner of Owens Corning; Rich Carroll of Carroll Consulting Group; and Jeremy Dickmann of Apollo Primm Commercial Roofing.

RT3 also recognized outgoing board member Thomas Basch of Infinity Home Services for his service to the organization.
