SOPREMA U.S. Names New CEO in Leadership Shift
Morgan to lead; Kersey moves to CTO

SOPREMA U.S. announced a leadership transition effective July 1, naming Chief Operating Officer Greg Morgan as chief executive officer as longtime CEO Tim Kersey steps down after more than 14 years.
Kersey will transition to chief technical officer, citing plans to spend more time with his family in Arkansas while remaining active in the company’s strategy and technical direction.
Morgan, who joined SOPREMA in 2000, brings more than 25 years of experience with the organization. As COO, he has overseen operations, supply chain, inventory management, warehousing and parts of the sales organization.
He has more than three decades of experience in the building materials industry and holds degrees in management information systems and business, along with an MBA in international business. He is also a certified Project Management Professional.
During Kersey’s tenure, SOPREMA U.S. grew more than sixfold, completed four acquisitions and advanced plans for additional domestic manufacturing facilities.
In his new role, Kersey will focus on technical sales, strategic initiatives and industry engagement, serving as a resource to senior leadership. Morgan is expected to guide the company’s next phase of growth and investment in the U.S. market.
