EagleView Technologies, the Rochester, N.Y.-based provider of aerial imagery and data analytics, announced on May 15 the appointment of Piers Dormeyer as its new chief executive officer, who was elevated from the president of the company’s Commercial Group. 

Dormeyer has been a member of EagleView’s leadership team for the past decade. In a news release, the company said Dormeyer brings a wealth of expertise in business strategy, organizational development, and operational excellence.

With Dormeyer’s elevation to CEO, the concern’s former chief executive, Chris Jurasek, will move into the role of executive chairman. During Jurasek’s tenure as CEO, the company said his strategic vision played a crucial role in shaping EagleView’s growth and establishing it as a market leader in aerial imagery and geospatial data analytics.

As resident of the Commercial Group, Dormeyer successfully spearheaded key initiatives, building strong relationships with customers and partners and expanding the company’s market presence. EagleView said his extensive industry knowledge, combined with a deep understanding of the company’s operations, positions him well in leading the company moving forward.
