On Top Safety earned top honors at the 2026 International Roofing Expo for its Life Grab Ladder Stabilizer and Life Grab 360 Roof Bracket.

February 27, 2026

Multiple safety products on display at the 2026 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas received high praise from show attendees. But few companies could be happier with their presence than On Top Safety Equipment.

The small company based in Buffalo earned top honors as both a “People’s Choice” and “Expert’s Choice” award winner for different products. following an online vote open to the public. Both its Life Grab Ladder Stabilizer and Life Grab 360 Roof Bracket were among dozens of products prominently displayed as part of the Innovative Product Showcase just outside the show floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center in January.

Organizers said the People’s Choice Awards reflect the products roofing professionals believe are making the biggest impact in the field.

“Spotlighting the products and services that are redefining possibilities in our market is fundamental to our collective progress,” said IRE Show Director Rich Russo. “Congratulations to our remarkable 2026 award winners for setting new standards of innovation!”

The Life Grab Stabilizer previously won the Expert’s Choice category for safety, making it one of the few, if not only safety products to win in both segments.

It is designed by roofers and is meant to keep ladders secure at any height. John Carroccia, vice president of On Top Safety Equipment, said it allows roofers to secure their ladders to any structure without the risk of unreliable bungee cords, ropes or clamps. It’s compatible with all ladders, durable and has a patent-pending securement system that exceeds OSHA standards.

Carroccia called the Life Grab Ladder Stabilizer the company’s top seller, and that engagement was high at IRE 2026, particularly as insurance premiums and liabilities come into focus in a tough economic climate.

“Ladder falls are still the number one injury cause and threat in the industry … and insurance companies are looking at safety issues as whole,” he explained. “The impact to a roofing contractor for even just one incident can be severe.”

On Top Safety Equipment earned top honors in Las Vegas again this year in the Expert’s Choice category for safety with the Life Grab 360 Roof Bracket. Carroccia said it’s the only two-man tie-off bracket on the market, setting a new standard for safety. It tested to an impressive 10,000-pound rating, exceeding ANSI and OSHA regulations. providing peace of mind and reliability on every job

In an IRE news release, the judges collectively praised the LifeGrab 360 Roof Bracket as “an ingenious solution to keep roofers and rooftop laborers safely tied-off while providing complete mobility and minimizing disconnection from the tie-off point.”  The also said this innovative product is redefining safety standards for roofing professionals, ensuring both security and efficiency on the job.

Roofing contractors can expect to see more On Top Safety at upcoming trade shows and will be promoting the recent success on www.ontopsafety.com.

“I’m very proud for our company,” Carroccia said. “We were really humbled to be honored like this, especially for being such a small company. It’s really a big deal
