Join the National Roofing Contractors Association’s government relations team for a preview of Roofing Day in D.C. 2025, the roofing industry’s premiere advocacy event held April 8-9, 2025.
This free webinar on March 7 will provide advocacy training for participants new to federal government processes and procedures and an overview of the Roofing Day in D.C. agenda.
Participants will learn about the advocacy issues addressed in Washington, D.C., and how to best speak with one voice to get our message heard in the halls of Congress.
Instructors
Duane Musser | NRCA’s vice president of government relations
Musser oversees and directs NRCA’s work regarding government policy and political matters. He has been with the association since 2008.
Previously, Musser served as a senior associate at Schramm, Williams & Associates Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm that represented clients before Congress and federal agencies on legislative and regulatory issues.
Musser started on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he gained experience in a wide array of policy matters. He earned a bachelor of science from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pa., and a master of business administration from George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.
Deborah Mazol | NRCA’s director of federal affairs
Mazol joined NRCA in 2020, bringing extensive public and private experience, including over a decade of experience on Capitol Hill serving in the House and Senate.
She received an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and credentials from the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, R.I., and Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation in Foreign Policy in Cambridge, Mass.
Teri Dorn | NRCA’s director of political affairs
Before joining NRCA, Dorn spent more than a decade working on Capitol Hill in legislative and management roles for the House Committee on the Budget and several members of Congress, including former NRCA CEO Reid Ribble.
She also has experience in the private sector emphasizing the intersection of federal policy with the financial services industry and has attained FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses.
