The 2016 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project Makes Strides in Memphis, Tenn.

Roofing Contractor Editorial Director Rick Damato is among the volunteers that pitched in with the Habitat for Humanity Project headed by former President Jimmy Carter.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter continued their annual tradition of pitching in to help Habitat for Humanity make a huge difference for well-deserving families in some of the country’s most distressed communities when it comes to affordable housing.

This year, the Habitat for Humanity ambassadors hosted the 33^rd annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project in August in Memphis, Tenn. They joined dozens of volunteers — including Roofing Contractor’s Editorial Director Rick Damato — during the week-long event.
