The next webinar, which is titled “Low Slope Roof Wind Design Overview,” might be of particular interest to Roofing Contractor readers. The webinar will be held May 15 at 2 p.m. Eastern. Mike Ennis, Technical Director of SPRI, will provide an overview of the information needed to properly design a roof to withstand wind loads. He’ll also review International Building Code Requirements and ASCE 7, which provides methods to calculate building loads due to a variety of forces.
