Are you looking for the best roofing show in the United States, or anywhere for that matter? The 2011 International Roofing Expo (IRE), which kicks off this week, Feb. 16-18, in Las Vegas, has all the tools you need to improve your roofing business.
Are you looking for the best roofing show in the United States, or anywhere for that matter? The 2011 International Roofing Expo (IRE), which kicks off this week, Feb. 16-18, in Las Vegas, has all the tools you need to improve your roofing business.
For starters, before the show begins, IRE is offering attendees and exhibitors the opportunity to give back to the Las Vegas community during Community Service Day on Tuesday (Feb. 15). Community Service Day is a home renovation and revitalization project that will be performed on homes of elderly veterans. To help with the renovations, professional and amateur volunteers are needed from a variety of construction disciplines including interior/exterior painting and clean up, flooring and minor carpentry.
On Wednesday (Feb. 16), former Super Bowl quarterback and 1983 NFL Most Valuable Player Joe Theismann will provide the keynote address, “Game Plan for Success.” In his address, Theismann will talk about the lessons he learned on the football field and how they helped him succeed in the business world.
IRE is also launching the Renewable Energy Pavilion, a designated area on the show floor to provide education and resources to attendees interested in this innovative and cutting-edge segment. The Renewable Energy Pavilion will educate attendees on of the benefits of using renewable energy products including solar, green/eco-friendly, photovoltaics, vegetative, roof-mounted wind turbines, day lighting, geo-thermal and other renewable energy products.
Overall, hundreds of roofing exhibitors and hundreds of booths offering products and demonstrations will be offered at IRE. Some of those companies who have reserved space include key manufacturers and distributors such as ABC Supply Co., CertainTeed, GAF, Firestone Building Products, Johns Manville Roofing Systems, OMG Roofing Products, Owens Corning, Soprema, 3M Industrial Mineral Products Division and Georgia Pacific, to name a few.
And even some of those participating for the first time include companies such as Palfinger North America, Super Anchor Safety, Domestic Bank Home Improvement Lending, EcoStar LLC, Franklin International, Hot Edge, Ski Slope Gutter Mesh, Lucas Granules, Master Pack, Marco Plastics Skylites, Roofing Contractor Marketing, Roof Barrier, SRS Energy and Steelscape.
