Winter has definitely made its grand entrance this year, with varying amounts of snowfall across the continental United States, with the effects of El Niño being observed.

According to AccuWeather, the Northeast has seen higher than usual levels of snow, with cities like Boston receiving a whopping 44 inches, New York City with 26 inches and Philly close behind at 24 inches.

In California, the National Weather Service recorded a maximum snow depth of 72 inches in Mammoth Lakes on Jan. 19. While this may excite skiers, it can be treacherous for those navigating city streets.

Speaking of city streets, check out this video from Turkey, where a crystalized Niagara Falls can be seen cascading down a busy city street.
