The 9th annual Win the Storm (WTS) Conference and Trade Show will head to the beach for a pre-Spring Break learning experience in roofing and storm restoration.

Thousands of roofing contractors and other tradespeople in the storm restoration market are expected to attend the conference, March 15-17, at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Florida. Attendees will see the latest products in the marketplace and learn from expert panels featuring industry leaders, key managers and top producers at some the strongest companies in the storm restoration field. Attendees have the opportunity to meet and network with some of the most influential and significant players from across the roofing, solar and storm restoration industries. They’ll also get to mingle with representatives from general contractors, solar power companies, public adjusters and policyholder attorneys.

This year’s panel lineup includes two dealing with public adjusters and attorneys, both moderated Scott Riopelle, CEO of Interstate Roofing and winner of the Roofing Technology Think Tank’s (RT3) Innovator of the Year Award. Also appearing is Steve Slepcevic, managing partner at Strategic Response Partners, who spoke at the 2022 Best of Success conference. Educational “breakout pits” and contractor “boot camps” on various topics ranging from marketing and lead generation to estimation and how to rehab/flip properties are also planned for the show floor.

Also new this year will be an honorary parade of first responders and others that were essential to Florida’s response to Hurricane Ian last September. Several platoons of the men and women that risked their own safety to help others following the devastating form will march outside the convention center, led by former Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. That includes members of the United States National Guard/Air Rescue; U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers; police officers and firefighters; electrical grid workers and tree removal specialists.

In addition to mainstage speakers and panel presentations, attendees will have the unique opportunity to interact with more than 400 exhibitors representing some of the biggest manufacturers, suppliers and service providers in the $100-billion-plus storm restoration industry.
