The roofing industry is full of good, honest workers, but it’s not without its bad players, from those who commit wire fraud to those who steal from the company. Trent Cotney, partner at Adams and Reese, provides general advice contractors should follow if they encounter incidents of fraud in their own companies.

“Just being mindful of the situation and game-playing the vulnerabilities in your system I think is really important to help prevent that,” Cotney said.
