Supply chain issues may worsen as truckers in the U.S. and Canada continue to protest and create blockades in response to COVID-19 requirements, warns Trent Cotney, CEO of Cotney Attorneys & Consultants.

In this latest Legal Insights episode, Cotney agrees truckers are facing tough conditions, but the result of their protests might mean further delays in critical components roofing contractors need to complete jobs.

“As these protests continue, you could really see a domino effect where you really start seeing more of an impact on states,” Cotney said.

To learn more about the supply chain, roofing professionals can attend the National Roofing Contractors Association’s (NRCA) LEGALcon, where Cotney will be presenting on materials volatility as well as the latest OSHA updates. The virtual event will be held March 10. Visit nrca.net for more information.
