WEST SENECA, N.Y. – At World of Concrete 2017, Jan. 17-20 in Las Vegas, Kemper System America, Inc. will showcase a new range of liquid-applied protective solutions for the building envelope including those for concrete roof decks, parking garages, balconies, terraces and walkways.

Kemper System, now in its 60th year, will also demonstrate product application at booth #S13012. The company’s liquid-applied systems cover over 1 billion square feet of surfaces across the globe.

To be featured at World of Concrete are:

  • New fully reinforced membrane systems that can transform concrete roof decks into reflective cool roofs, or provide monolithic protection for green roofs, blue roofs, and a range of other concrete projects.
  • Two durable coatings systems for protecting concrete surfaces prone to heavy wear such as parking garages, balconies and walkways.

High-Performance Waterproofing Membrane Systems
The two reinforced waterproofing membrane systems are cold liquid-applied and ideal for ‘cool roof’ applications: The new Kemperol® AC Speed FR system, is a fast-curing Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA), and Kemperol® Reflect 2K FR is an odor-free, low-VOC system. Both are fire rated for Class A assemblies and exceed LEED solar reflective requirements with SRI ratings of 108 and 110, respectively.

Durable Spray-applied Wear Coatings

For parking garages, pedestrian decks, and loading docks, the COLEAN® Parking System can withstand deterioration caused by natural elements and vehicular traffic.

The COLEAN® Balcony System is designed to expand and contract with normal structural movements, and protects concrete balconies, terraces, walkways, patios, sun decks, and machine rooms from spalling, freeze/thaw damage and chemical exposure.

Kemper System also now offers a cost-effective way to prolong the life of existing roofs with elastomeric coating systems, one of four technologies added through its acquisition of STS Coatings in December.

“Our scope now extends well beyond roof waterproofing, and we plan to continue to expand our range of reliable Building Envelope solutions to make the specifier’s job easier,” said Richard Doornink, president and managing director of Kemper System America, Inc.
