TAMKO Acquires Contractor Group RSRA
Alliance expands contractor outreach

TAMKO Building Products has acquired the assets of the Roofing & Solar Reform Alliance, a contractor community focused on education, collaboration and contractor support.
The organization will relaunch as The Roofing STRONG Alliance by TAMKO, with the existing RSRA leadership team remaining in place. Founder Adam Bensman will continue leading the organization while also taking on an expanded role with TAMKO.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
TAMKO said the alliance will continue operating as part of its TAMKO Edge contractor program, with plans to expand training, resources and contractor engagement opportunities. Membership in the Roofing STRONG Alliance will be offered at no cost to TAMKO Edge contractors.
“Contractors are at the center of everything we do,” said Alex Hines, TAMKO vice president of sales and chief revenue officer. He said RSRA built “a strong and respected community” focused on accountability and contractor support.
Bensman said the two organizations share similar values and goals for supporting contractors and strengthening industry relationships.
The move reflects a broader trend among roofing manufacturers to expand contractor-focused education, networking and business development initiatives beyond product sales. Because RSRA also served solar contractors, the acquisition could further support TAMKO’s outreach to roofing companies expanding into solar-related services.
