Werner Expands NCAA Partnership, Showcases Ladders
The safety provider supplies 92 ladders for NCAA events, highlighting platform stability, safety and brand reach.

Werner is expanding its long-standing partnership with the NCAA, increasing its media presence while continuing to supply specialty ladders used during championship net-cutting ceremonies.
For the 2026 season, the company designed and distributed 92 ladders across Division I, II and III men’s and women’s tournaments, reflecting coordinated deployment across multiple venues.
The courtside ladders feature enlarged standing platforms and extended guardrails intended to improve balance, positioning and stability under shifting loads. While designed for a high-visibility sports setting, those features mirror safety considerations on jobsites where workers perform tasks at height.
The ladder design addresses common risks such as overreach and improper footing, which are factors in tasks including ceiling installation, framing and finishing work. The emphasis on platform size, guardrail configuration and stability aligns with broader industry safety priorities.

Werner is also increasing exposure through broadcast and digital channels tied to tournament coverage. The company said the effort reinforces its focus on safety and performance, factors that can influence equipment selection across the trades.
On-site events in Phoenix and Indianapolis will allow the public to view the ladders up close, offering a demonstration of how design affects user stability.
The company’s broader message underscores the importance of proper ladder selection, setup and use to maintain safety compliance in both public and jobsite environments.
