IKO Launches 2026 Contractor Workshop Series
Sold-out Halifax and Winnipeg events kick off training focused on business growth, marketing strategies and contractor networking

IKO kicked off its 2026 Profit Power workshop series with sold-out events in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Winnipeg, Manitoba, drawing roofing contractors for training focused on business growth and operations.
The Halifax event marked the first Profit Power workshop held in Canada’s Atlantic region. Speakers included Dmitry Lipinskiy of Roofing Insights, who shared strategies for building a roofing business and improving social media presence, along with Wade Brown of JobNimbus and contractor Mitch Beaulieu, who discussed scaling operations.
“Profit Power is about giving contractors insights they can take straight back to their businesses,” said Jack Gottesman, marketing and brand director at IKO North America.
A second full-capacity session in Winnipeg featured presentations on digital marketing, performance management and communication skills. Among the speakers were Jason Ashman of Scorpion and Steve Bunin, a communications coach and former sportscaster, who led exercises on storytelling and customer engagement.
The workshops also included networking opportunities for attendees and highlighted contractor resources and partnerships available through IKO programs.
IKO said the Profit Power series will continue across the United States with scheduled stops in cities including Portland, Oregon; Houston; Orlando, Florida; Boston; St. Louis; and Minneapolis later this year.
