IKO launches DECRA stone-coated steel roofing line
Three profiles debut under new IKO Metals brand.

IKO North America has launched IKO Metals, a brand for its metal roofing products that brings DECRA’s stone-coated steel roofing portfolio under the IKO name. The company announced the launch Sept. 28 at the Western Roofing Expo in Las Vegas, where the Roofing Contractor team was on hand for the product’s debut.
DECRA, which became part of IKO through its 2018 acquisition of Roof Tile Group, has nearly 40 years of experience in stone-coated steel roofing, according to the company.
The new portfolio includes three profiles inspired by traditional tile and shake designs.
- Mediterranean Tile has a low-profile, scalloped design inspired by clay tile.
- Farmhouse Shake has a wide profile and textured appearance modeled on hand-split cedar shake.
- Spanish Tile features curves inspired by Spanish clay tile.
The products are available in the U.S. and Canada, IKO said. IKO representatives also confirmed that training is available for contractors interested in learning more about DECRA roofing systems.
The launch builds on the company’s $60 million metal roofing plant in Ennis, Texas, which opened in 2025 and spans 205,000 square feet.
IKO said its metal roofs have a Class 4 impact-resistance rating and a Class A fire rating.
The company also says the roofs are designed for freeze-thaw conditions and carry a limited lifetime warranty that covers wind speeds up to 120 mph and hailstones up to 2.5 inches in diameter.
The warranty applies to the original owner of a single-family detached home and may be transferred once to a new owner within 20 years of installation, subject to the warranty’s terms and limitations.
