2017 Annual Revenue: $34.7 million

Last year was: “Stonebrook had another successful year of growth,” said Ben Eberle, director of sales and marketing. “A 66 percent increase in revenue brought many challenges. A skilled labor force continues to be one of the biggest challenges for us today, tomorrow and into the future. We have been working with our manufacturers to research and discover new methods of installation and develop new opportunities in autonomous roofing products.”

This year will be: “It is a great time to be in the construction industry,” Eberle said. “We foresee the boom continuing well through 2018. However, our local market continues to grow only marginally, our expanded markets are booming. Through acquisitions in those markets we are fixed to have another year of success with a projected growth near 40 percent.”

What steps has your company taken in the last year to get new work and/or increase productivity?: “Although acquiring skilled labor continues to be a challenge, we have developed a strong human resources department that is creative in recruiting labor to our markets,” Eberle said. “Also, our research and development is constantly pushing the envelope on product discovery and making sure our people are properly educated and certified in the products we install. We have created a ‘one team’ rich culture. Our people are constantly pushing each other to level up, which provides new opportunities throughout our organization. With our labor force growing, we have a dedicated effort toward safety. We are embedding a safety culture in our company where every member of team has a 10-hour OSHA certificate, every project has a superintendent that has a 30-hour OSHA certificate and a team member Certified in first-aid and CPR.”
