Beacon has sold its interior products and insulations businesses to Foundation Building Materials, majority-owned by affiliates of American Securities LLC.

Beacon is divesting its interior products business, which includes includes wallboard, acoustical ceilings, steel framing and insulation for both residential and commercial contractors.

Nationwide Protective Coatings is helping companies become greener by labeling its products with a seal recognizing products that go above and beyond federal standards. The company is also working on zero VOC products, including exterior and interior paints.
