OSHA cited the company for lack of hard hats and willfully exposing workers to falls during a snowy installation last December.

The Garland Company, Inc. has awarded its 2023 Garland Scholarship to Lily Hebert, the daughter of Garland employee-owner Jay Hebert. Hebert will attend Fordham University in New York City to study biology and pre-med. The scholarship amount was $12,800.

A roofing crew accidentally ignited a fire at a Milford, Mass., home on Monday. The fire caused extensive damage to the roof; the homeowner's son was taken to the hospital as a precaution but was expected to be released soon.
