The Chicago Roofing Contractors Association and Tidwell Roofing & Sheet Metal are honoring the life and legacy of Charlie Williams, who passed away on May 19.

At the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association's June 4 meeting in Victoria, British Columbia, Jeremy Croft of Atlantic Roofers Ltd. was elected president and board chair, succeeding Lindsay Pochynuk.

Held annually the first week of June, National Roofing Week is held to increase awareness of the significance of the roofing industry and the good deeds the industry accomplishes.

CRCA is looking forward to help NWiR establish itself in Canada and provide its four pillars of service to women involved in the roofing industry.

The donations will go toward supporting the roofing industry through various means, such as scholarships, education, charitable programs and research.

Roofing professionals can take part in a new quarterly survey that will help track the reroofing industry in both the U.S. and Canada.

The CRCA and Chicago chapter of the IIBEC are hosting a free, three-day event in place of the CRCA's Trade Show and Seminars.
