All Weather Insulated Panels, the California-based designer and producer of insulated metal wall, roof and deck solutions, announced in a May 21 news release that it had named Scott Bacon vice president of sales.

Bacon was previously AWIP’s national sales manager for Commercial & Industrial; the company says he has more than 30 years of experience in the metal roofing and siding industry.

“Scott has been a huge part of AWIP’s success over the last four years, and we’re excited to see what he will accomplish in his new role,” said Greg Lusty, AWIP President.

Joining Bacon on the AWIP sales leadership team are Joe Paparella and Jacob Nickel.

Paparella was named director of commercial and industrial sales. According to the company, he comes to AWIP with more than 12 years of experience in metal building product sales and manufacturing. His market specialties include a “deep understanding” of the agricultural, residential and commercial metal panel markets.

“We are happy to welcome Joe to the AWIP team in support of our national sales efforts,” added Lusty. “His industry experience speaks for itself, and I expect him to contribute to our continued growth.”

Nickel’s promotion to central regional sales manager comes after spending more than two years as the company’s territory sales manager in Texas and Louisiana.

Since joining AWIP in 2018, Nickel has driven “substantial growth and market development and demonstrated the ability to extend this success” in a broader geographic region.

“As our business continues to grow, we continue to adapt to meet the growing needs of our customers, and the expansion of our sales team is a reflection of that,” added Lusty.
