Beacon Receives ‘Platinum Employer’ Distinction by Crane Operating Organization
Beacon Building Products was named a 2023 ‘Platinum Employer’ by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators, or CO0. The high-level distinction was awarded to only six companies.

The National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators, or CCO, named Beacon Building Products a 2023 Platinum Employer, only one of six concerns to have earned that high-level distinction.
In a LinkedIn post, Beacon said, “This award is a testament to our commitment to putting people first by providing the necessary training to become nationally certified crane operators through the NCCCO.”
The organization’s inaugural awardees were determined based on the volume of employee exams using data collected by CCO in 2022. The distinction, Beacon said, is symbolic of its commitment to improving safety through CCO certification.
Beacon provides training and certification “in-house” and free of charge to qualified drivers. During the past 10 years, Beacon has certified hundreds of crane operators through the NCCCO.
