It’s common knowledge that an online presence is critical to a roofing contractor's succes.
But there are ways many business owners and managers could be more effective in executing online strategy, said G.A. Bartick. The Google certified speaker and author of Silver Bullet Selling: Six Critical Steps to Opening More Relationships and Closing More Sales, shared many of those ways during his Best of Success presentation.
He started by sharing details on just how much time consumers — and potential customers — spend online. Specifically, he said, the average person spends more than 23 hours a day within arm’s length of his/her smartphone.
“Every single day, there’s about 40,000 Google searches per second,” Bartick said. “That’s about 300 billion per day, about 1.2 trillion per year.”
As of September 2017, he said, there are more searches happening on mobile devices.
The level of connectivity will directly impact consumer behaior.
“The key is working at a local level,” Bartick said.
He talked about the benefits of working with a Google Premier Partner — those who have passed Google Ads product certification exams. He also noted the importance of customer reviews and using more than words when trying to reach customers.
“It’s all about video and do you have video on your platform,” Bartick said, noting that how-to videos are “huge.”
