CHICAGO — The Metal Construction Association (MCA) will present commercial and residential roof and tool demonstrations at booth #1247 at METALCON International Oct.1-3 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The popular MCA Demos are designed to provide insight on the latest roofing and tool technologies, with discussions and demonstrations of both trends and techniques. This year features an expanded, interactive seating area that combines the Solar Bay Live presentations with the MCA Demos that allows attendees to easily watch and listen to all the contributors in one spot.

In addition to dedicated audience demonstrations each day, Metal in Action will be open for attendees to walk through during all exhibit hall hours. Participants can ask questions, work with tools, and have one-on-one discussions. This up-close-and-personal approach is designed to give more information to take back and use in the field.

Stop by the MCA booth #1553 — adjacent to the Metal in Action area — for technical and research project examples along with information on this year's Chairman's Awards for building excellence. A mockup of MCA's metal roof research at the DOE's Oak Ridge National Laboratory will be displayed at the booth, detailing some of the technologies that have been evaluated and modeled over the past decade. Key examples of MCA's extensive technical and case history library will be on hand as well. Representatives from the MCA will be available to answer questions.

METALCON International draws nearly 8,000 designers, builders, developers, contractors, fabricators and suppliers from more than 50 countries. Experts from 300 companies exhibit the latest products and technology and share their knowledge with attendees. METALCON's blend of new product exhibits, an education conference and live-action demos of the latest techniques for roofing, architectural and structural applications offers market insight and ideas.
