Polyglass, Reno, Nev., offers a new generation of roofing membranes, Elastoflex SA P cap sheet and Elastoflex SA V base sheet. These membranes combine the best of fiberglass and polyester mat technologies with the best of SBS and APP technologies. The cap sheet is a polyester and glass-reinforced modified bitumen roof membrane on the top with self-adhesive backing. The base sheet is exceptionally strong. Its self-adhering properties provide an alternative when traditional adhesives or propane torch techniques are not desirable. The system is easy to install, self-sealing around nails, rot proof, and available nationwide.
