Polyglass Enters Single-Ply Market With Mapeplan PVC
New commercial roofing system combines PVC membranes, adhesives, accessories and insulation with multiple installation options

Polyglass U.S.A. has expanded into the U.S. single-ply roofing market with the launch of Mapeplan PVC, a complete commercial roofing system designed for low-slope applications.
The system combines PVC membranes with compatible bonding adhesives, prefabricated accessories and Polytherm polyiso insulation.
Polyglass said offering the components as an integrated system is intended to simplify specification and installation while providing compatibility throughout the roof assembly. Mapeplan PVC membranes feature hot-air-welded seams and resistance to UV exposure, chemicals, grease and industrial contaminants. Reflective surfaces are also available to support energy-efficiency requirements.
Contractors can install Mapeplan PVC using adhered or mechanically attached assemblies, including in-seam fastening and induction-welded methods.
Polyglass also offers hybrid configurations that combine Mapeplan PVC with the company s modified bitumen systems.
The product marks Polyglass entry into the thermoplastic roofing category in the U.S. Mapeplan PVC has been used internationally for more than 17 years, with more than 9 million square feet installed globally, according to the company.
