GMS Canada Opens New Roofing Supply Branch in Nova Scotia
Dartmouth location combines Peridot roofing products with broader building-material offerings
D.L. Building Materials and Peridot Supply have opened a shared distribution location in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, expanding access to roofing, building-envelope and construction materials across the Halifax Regional Municipality.
The new facility, located at 200 Akerley Boulevard, combines products and services from both companies under one roof. Peridot Supply specializes in commercial and residential roofing systems, insulation, waterproofing, wall products and related accessories.
The location will also offer drywall, steel framing, ceiling systems, tools, fasteners, adhesives and sealants, along with jobsite delivery and technical product support.
"This new location is an exciting opportunity to combine the strengths of D.L. Building Materials and Peridot Supply and provide customers across the HRM area with greater access to the products, expertise and service they need," said Paul Green, president of GMS Canada.
The companies said the Dartmouth expansion is intended to support growing construction activity throughout Halifax and surrounding communities while improving product availability and delivery coordination for contractors.
D.L. Building Materials and Peridot Supply are part of GMS Canada. GMS operates more than 320 distribution centers and is a subsidiary of SRS Distribution, which is owned by The Home Depot.
