Sublynk Launches Certified Contractor Network

Platform gives roofing contractors public profiles with verified credentials, background-checked personnel and access to an open registry

Sublynk Inc. has launched the Sublynk Certified Network, a contractor verification and public registry platform designed to help roofing companies demonstrate their qualifications to prospective customers.

Participating contractors receive a public-facing Certified Profile displaying third-party-verified information such as insurance coverage, trade licenses, certifications and background-checked personnel. Contractors can share the profile with homeowners during sales appointments or use it as a portable credential across job calls.

“What competitor is going to be able to provide this level of transparency and education within the first minutes of meeting a potential customer?” said Chris Andronaco, CEO of Sublynk. “Homeowners pick who they trust over everything else.”

Certified contractors are also listed in Sublynk’s searchable public registry, which homeowners and business owners can access without a lead fee or transaction charge to the contractor. The network also connects participating companies with other contractors and businesses in the Sublynk ecosystem.

According to the company, the program is intended to help contractors distinguish themselves in competitive markets, particularly following storms when multiple roofing companies may be pursuing the same property owners.

“Top-tier contractors operate far above the industry baseline, but proving that to a prospective customer has historically been difficult,” Andronaco said. “Every contractor says they have these things; few can prove it on the spot.”

Sublynk said its existing compliance platform helps repair networks reduce the time needed to verify contractor credentials. The Certified Network expands that system into a customer-facing sales and marketing tool.

The company describes Sublynk as a business-to-business network connecting vetted contractors with organizations seeking their services while providing compliance verification and a transaction-free marketplace.
