Westlake Royal Expands TruExterior Distribution
Westlake Royal expands TruExterior siding and trim through BlueLinx across key Eastern markets.

Westlake Royal Building Products is expanding the availability of its TruExterior Siding & Trim products through select BlueLinx distribution locations across the East Coast and Southeast, giving dealers, contractors and builders greater access to the company's premium poly-ash exterior solutions.
The expanded distribution network now includes BlueLinx facilities in Denville, N.J.; Pittsburgh; Frederick, Md.; Richmond, Va.; Raleigh, Charlotte and Statesville, N.C.; Charleston, S.C.; Atlanta; Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla.; and Nashville.
The move significantly broadens access to TruExterior products in regions where moisture resistance, durability and long-term exterior performance are critical considerations. Manufactured from a proprietary poly-ash material, TruExterior is designed to deliver the appearance of wood while resisting moisture, insects and harsh weather conditions.
"BlueLinx has been a valued distribution partner for Westlake Royal, known for its deep market knowledge, reliable service and commitment to supporting our customers' growth," said Bill Conlon, vice president of U.S. sales, siding and trim for Westlake Royal Building Products. "This expansion represents one of our most significant distribution rollouts in recent years, reflecting our confidence in BlueLinx's ability to effectively commercialize our poly-ash siding and trim solutions and meet growing demand across these key markets."
In addition to its durability benefits, TruExterior offers strong dimensional stability and jobsite versatility. The material can be cut, milled, glued, stained and painted, making it suitable for a variety of architectural styles and exterior applications.
BlueLinx officials said the expanded offering aligns with the company's strategy to grow its specialty products portfolio and provide customers with differentiated building materials.
"The expansion of TruExterior continues to emphasize our long-term commitment to growing our specialty product portfolio," said Mark Mason, vice president of product management at BlueLinx. "Investing in differentiated, high-performance exterior solutions like TruExterior enables us to deliver greater value to our customers, strengthen our partnership with Westlake Royal and build sustainable growth."
The expanded partnership strengthens Westlake Royal's distribution footprint while helping BlueLinx meet increasing demand for high-performance exterior building products across key Eastern and Southeastern markets.
Expansion and Product Initiatives
Over the past year, Westlake Royal Building Products has continued to expand both its product portfolio and market reach, with a particular focus on exterior cladding and trim solutions. One of the company's most notable recent developments was the introduction of a new 5/8-inch Lap Siding profile within its TruExterior Siding & Trim line. Designed to replicate the appearance and shadow lines of traditional cedar siding, the new profile leverages the company's proprietary poly-ash technology to deliver enhanced durability, dimensional stability and moisture resistance. The product also earned recognition as a finalist in two categories of the 2026 Best of IBS Awards, underscoring Westlake Royal's emphasis on innovation in exterior building materials.
Westlake Royal has also invested heavily in expanding distribution for its flagship product lines. Most recently, the company partnered with BlueLinx to broaden availability of TruExterior Siding & Trim across 12 distribution locations throughout the East Coast and Southeast. The rollout significantly increases access to the product in high-growth residential construction markets where weather resistance and low-maintenance performance are key selling points. The move reflects Westlake Royal's broader strategy of strengthening channel partnerships, increasing market penetration and meeting growing demand for premium exterior building products across North America.
