Metal Roofing Alliance Releases Free Homeowner Roofing Mini Guides
New downloadable resources cover regional considerations, roof replacement preparation, metal roofing options and contractor selection

The Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) has launched a new series of free homeowner-focused mini guides aimed at providing credible, expert-backed information for consumers planning a roof replacement.
Available at MetalRoofing.com, the four guides cover key topics including regional roofing considerations, preparing for a new roof, metal roofing options and choosing an installer. The resources are intended to complement MRA’s existing Residential Metal Roofing Buyer’s Guide by offering shorter, more focused content that homeowners can quickly reference when evaluating roofing decisions.
Each guide ranges from 10 to 12 pages and includes recommendations and insights vetted by MRA members across the United States and Canada, including metal roofing manufacturers, suppliers and contractors. The guides feature educational content, practical tips and project-planning advice designed to help homeowners better understand their roofing options.
“Our new mini guides give homeowners a valuable and credible way to get the customized information they need when it comes to re-roofing their home, specifically for topics they might be most curious about,” said Renee Ramey, executive director of the MRA. “Good research and doing your homework are the keys for making a wise roofing decision that you’ll be happy with for years to come.”
The organization said the new resources are particularly valuable as homeowners increasingly seek online information about roofing products and installation decisions. MRA continues to offer its full Residential Metal Roofing Buyer’s Guide as a free download alongside the new topic-specific publications.
