RCMA Launches Membership Program for Roofing Contractors
The program was developed in response to contractor requests for greater industry engagement, technical resources and advocacy support

The Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) has launched a new membership category for roofing contractors, expanding participation in the trade group's network of manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and other industry stakeholders.
The Contractor Membership program was developed in response to contractor requests for greater industry engagement, technical resources and advocacy support, according to RCMA.
"Contractors are on the front lines of the roof coatings industry, and we've consistently heard that they want a stronger voice, greater access to technical resources, and more opportunities to distinguish themselves in the marketplace," RCMA Executive Director Jenn Brake said in a statement.
The program provides access to industry advocacy on building codes, regulations and legislative issues, along with technical bulletins, training discounts and networking opportunities. Members also will be listed in an online contractor directory and receive promotional exposure through RCMA communications.
New members will receive six complimentary passes to RCMA's virtual training program. The association is also inviting early participants to join as founding contractor members and provide feedback on the program's future development.
"Founding members will play an important role in helping us build a program that delivers meaningful benefits and addresses the real-world challenges contractors face every day," Brake said.
RCMA said the program is intended to strengthen contractor involvement in the roof coatings sector through education, advocacy and industry collaboration.
