Georgia-Pacific Names John Mulcahy SVP
Weidman to retire in June

John Mulcahy (left) has been named senior vice president of communications, public affairs and stewardship at Georgia-Pacific, while David Brabham has been appointed vice president of the company’s stewardship capability.
Georgia-Pacific announced leadership changes within its communications and stewardship teams, effective immediately. John Mulcahy, formerly vice president of stewardship, has been named senior vice president of communications, public affairs and stewardship as longtime executive Sheila Weidman prepares to retire June 5 after 38 years with the company.
Mulcahy joined Georgia-Pacific in 1987 and most recently led sustainability and stewardship initiatives across the company’s business units. In his new role, he will oversee communications, public affairs and stewardship efforts as Georgia-Pacific enters its second century.
The company also named David Brabham vice president of stewardship. Brabham previously served as senior director of customer engagement and stewardship for several of Georgia-Pacific’s business segments and has held multiple forestry and sustainability leadership roles during his tenure with the company.
