QXO Opens Nominations for Female Roofing Pro Award

QXO has opened nominations for its sixth annual North American Female Roofing Professional of the Year award, recognizing women working across the roofing industry in the United States and Canada.
The campaign, launched in recognition of International Women’s Day, invites the public to nominate women in roles such as operations, accounting, sales, estimating, ownership and other positions who are helping drive the industry forward.
Nominations are open through April 6, 2026. One grand prize winner will receive $10,000 and travel to attend the 2027 National Women in Roofing Days event and the 2027 International Roofing Expo. Four finalists will receive $1,000 each.
Rachel Narveson of Proficient Construction, the program’s 2025 winner, said the award highlights the role women play in supporting and mentoring one another in the industry.
“This award reflects the dedication of all the women throughout the industry who mentor, support and lift each other up,” Narveson said. “I hope my journey inspires others to embrace leadership, challenge barriers and pursue excellence in every project they take on.”
A panel of judges that includes QXO executives, previous winners and industry leaders will select five finalists from the nominations. Public voting will take place from May 12 to May 22, 2026, with the winner and runners-up announced June 3.
The Female Roofing Professional of the Year program has grown steadily since launching in 2021, averaging about 3,000 nominations annually over the past three years, according to QXO.
