DensDeck ProFast Prime Roof Board, introduced in March 2025 as the latest addition to the DensDeck portfolio of gypsum board products, is now commercially available nationwide.

The product is a 3/8-inch cutting-edge gypsum-based cover board engineered to enhance roofing installation efficiency. In testing conducted to date, the use of DensDeck ProFast Prime Roof Boards in single-ply (hybrid) assemblies have demonstrated an average reduction of 25-75% in the number of fasteners required¹—which can help to lower material costs and optimize your project budget and profit margins.

Additionally, the board is approximately 20% lighter than DensDeck Prime Roof Board, offering greater ease of handling and installation on the job site. To further improve logistics, around 25% more can fit onto a truck, which can help transportation costs and streamline supply chain.
