Rock Mountain Snow Guards has announced the launch of its patent-pending Everest Guard EG10 and EG16, two ultra-strong gusset-designed snow guards.

The snow guards are stackable or "nested" for trouble-free rooftop handling. The welded steel snow guards feature a pre-drilled strap that allows for easy nail or screw fastening. The 10-inch and 16-inch Everest snow guards are powder-coated steel and stocked in dark bronze, harbor gray, and black.

Everest Guard EG10: Measuring at 10 inches in overall length, the EG10 is designed for new and retrofit roof installation projects. The EG10 snow guard can be used on synthetic slate and shake, asphalt shingle, metal shingle and cedar shake and shingle roof types. The 5.8-inch strap features a versatile hole pattern so it can also be used in applications previously requiring a 7-inch snow guard. The pad area is 4.28 square inches.

Everest Guard EG16: Measuring 16 inches in overall length, the EG16 has an 11.8-inch strap ideal for new roof installation projects. The powder-coated steel snow guard is designed for synthetic slate and shake, cedar shake and shingle, and natural slate roofs.  Also, with a 4.28 square inch pad area, the nested snow guards can be easily carried and installed.

"These are now our strongest, most reliable snow guards," says Lars Walberg, president of Rocky Mountain Snow Guards. "Best of all, the new stackable design makes it a simpler process for roofing contractors to carry these snow guards up on the roof, handle them during installation and keep their project moving forward."
