Owens Corning Roofing recognized the spirit of service and commitment to achievement that distinguishes Platinum Preferred Contractors across North America during the 20th Annual Platinum Conference in Orlando, Fla.

During its 20th Annual Platinum Conference in Orlando, Fla., Owens Corning Roofing honored the dedication and service that set apart Platinum Preferred Contractors throughout North America.
Award Recognition
In a news release on Tuesday, OC said the Top Performer and Pinnacle awards highlighted the conference. These annual awards recognize the business growth, safety culture, environmental stewardship, community support, and innovative leadership of roofing contractors.
“Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Preferred Contractors and their teams excel in ways that transcend a home’s roof,” said Jessica Tinney, Owens Corning Contractor network leader.
“The generosity and hard work that define their leadership reflects the integrity that defines Platinum Preferred contractors’ businesses across North America,” Tinney added.
“We are humbled and privileged to honor these recipients as we recognize the many ways they are making a difference for their customers, employees, and communities.”

Investing in More than Just a Roof
OC Roofing President Gunner Smith reviewed the state of the residential roofing industry in North America during the conference.
He noted that the repair and remodel segment and new housing are favorable for the roofing sector. “We are at a high-water mark in North America for roof repair and remodeling and analysts expect it to grow,” Smith said.
His remarks emphasized the company's investments in delivering value beyond the product, responding to emerging market trends, and supporting contractors’ businesses.
OC noted how it supports the industry by:
- Investing in capacity: A new state-of-the-art production plant in the Southeastern U.S. increases shingle production capacity.
- Investing in sustainability: The company aims to divert 2M tons of shingles from landfills yearly by deconstructing, reusing components, and recycling shingles into asphalt.
- Investing in talent: An online certificate program with Cornell University provides contractors’ teams with elite education, enhancing skills in finance, data science, leadership, and sales.
- Investing in technology: Contractors use Owens Corning Tech Stack tools, including Roofle for quotes and Lead Management Powered by Toolsey for managing leads.
- Investing in communities: These investments benefit communities where contractors live and work.
The Platinum Conference highlighted the roofing community's generosity, showcasing Owens Corning Foundation initiatives, such as the Roof Deployment Project and Habitat for Humanity, along with grassroots projects nationwide.
Closing the 2025 Platinum Conference, Owens Corning Roofing Contractor Network members packed 10,000 school supply kits to support A Gift for Teaching, which provides educational resources to inspire future leaders.
