Westlake Royal Building Products announced new color offerings from its DaVinci Roofscapes and Newpoint Concrete Roof Tile brands in a February news release.

Davinci Roofscapes

Expanding its single-width slate profile offerings, these two new color additions featured in the Nature Crafted Collection offer homeowners the look of authentic slate with the durable performance of DaVinci’s high-quality materials.

"These new Nature Crafted Collection additions further underscore our commitment to providing authentic, nature-inspired roofing solutions that combine timeless beauty with modern durability," said Mark Pagel, general manager of DaVinci Roofscapes. 

"Both colors deliver the stunning variations found in natural quarried slate while providing the long-lasting performance that homeowners expect from DaVinci products," Pagel added

• Rock Ridge: Blends dark gray and black hues to mirror the natural presence of iron sulfide, graphite and carbon in Vermont- and New York- quarried slate. Like all DaVinci products, Rock Ridge is warranted to resist fading for 10 years.
• Aurora: Inspired by the Northern Skies’ Aurora Borealis, the color merges soft mottled greens and purples. Davinci says the color is a “sophisticated yet traditional blend,” creating a unique appearance and a “perfect” addition for historical renovations.

Both are ideal for various architectural styles, including:

• Aurora: Old World, Colonial, Tudor, Modern Farmhouse and Mansard
• Rock Ridge: Colonial, Federal, Victorian, Greek Revival, Neoclassical and Revival

Newpoint Concrete Roof Tile 

Westlake Royal’s Newpoint Concrete Roof Tile expansion includes seven new colors from its California, Arizona and Nevada manufacturing facilities—Ashen Cove, Auburn Ridge, Earthen Shadow, Olive Bark, Platinum Peak, Tree Bark Blend and Urban Driftwood—along with extensions of two existing colors, Cherrywood and Apple Bark, to additional profiles from Arizona and Nevada.

"These curated additions mirror our commitment to meeting evolving design trends while maintaining the aesthetic appeal that Newpoint Concrete Roof Tile is known for," said Eric Miller, vice president of sales, Westlake Royal Building Products’ stone and roofing solutions brands. 

"Each color has been carefully developed to provide architects, builders and homeowners with versatile design options,” Miller added.

The new colors feature sophisticated blends inspired by natural elements:

• Ashen Cove: Merges warm earth tones with gray and terracotta hues
• Auburn Ridge: Brings together the warm earthy tones of orange and brown
• Earthen Shadow: Offers a sophisticated grey, brown blend infused with eye-catching orange streaks
• Olive Bark: Mixes earthy brown with verdant green for a naturally grounded aesthetic
• Platinum Peak: A serene light grey blend designed to provide a clean and contemporary look
• Tree Bark Blend: Captures the rich, layered hues found in natural bark
• Urban Driftwood: Combines muted grays, subtle browns and hints of faded green

Existing Cherrywood and Apple Bark also now have expanded profile offerings. Westlake Royal said the new colors will be available in Northern and Southern California in addition to Arizona and Nevada, with specific profiles and colors tailored to each market:

Northern and Southern California markets will offer Earthen Shadow, Platinum Peak, Tree Bark Blend and Urban Driftwood across select profiles, including Saxony Slate, Saxony Shake, Barcelona and Villa.

The Arizona and Nevada markets will feature Auburn Ridge, Ashen Cove and Olive Bark and the expanded offerings of existing Cherrywood and Apple Bark in Saxony Slate, Saxony Shake, Barcelona and Mission S profiles, varying profile availability by specific color and region.
