Last year was: “The most profitable year to date. We did not have any notable increase in revenue, yet our profit margin jumped,” said Vice President Denise Katchmark.

This year will be: Katchmark has pre-sold more work this year than ever before. “We have never been in a position at this early in the year and we are very optimistic for an even better year in 2017. We’ve also had increased revenue with the hail storm that hit the D.C. area in May,” Katchmark said. “Our Chesapeake office is increasing in revenue each year. We opened a new branch in central Pennsylvania in February 2017. We have already pre-sold a property management job for our Pennsylvania branch.”

What you didn’t know: The company is now more process driven and added a profit-sharing incentive plan for staff.
