Rather than focusing on the rea-sons why small businesses fail, I think it makes better sense to focus on the priorities that are critical to the success of every remodeling contractor.
When I do sales seminars for roofing contractors I am always surprised at the number of salespeople who do not introduce themselves to the neighbors of their clients.
During a recent seminar in Toronto, I asked the group if anyone could tell me how they define “marketing.” I received an answer that was unlike any I’ve ever heard before. One of the participants said, “Marketing is making sure all of your employees know your company story and how they add value to the message.”
