Brava Roof Tile, a United States manufacturer of beautifully authentic, high-performance synthetic roofing, revealed the recipients of its 2023 Excellence Awards. The awards celebrate the craftsmanship demonstrated by top roofing contractors who have chosen Brava for their projects.

Brava recognizes and honors the outstanding work of contractors who have transformed homes and commercial spaces using a range of synthetic roofing materials. The winning projects were selected based on their exceptional quality of installation, aesthetic impact, and ability to enhance the overall appeal of the structures.

The 2023 Brava Roof Tile Excellence Award winners are:

  • American Custom Contractors based in Washington, D.C., for the use of Brava Shake Tile in the color Natural on a 4,000-square-foot single-family home in the picturesque neighborhood of Potomac, Md. The roof was installed with gleaming copper accents, including W valleys, a standing seam cupola roof, chimney counter flashings, apron and step flashings, and 5-inch gutters.
  • Braswell Construction Group Inc., headquartered in Covington, Ga., for installation of a Brava Cedar Shake roof in the color Weathered.
  • Cedar Roofing Company headquartered in Lake Forest, Ill., for the use of Brava Shake in Aspen. A beautiful lakefront home received a brand-new Brava roof, chosen for its aesthetics and longevity. The synthetic roof is perfectly suited to the local climate.
  • Douglas Fry Roofing out of Wichita, Kan., for the use of Brava Slate in Light Arendale. The replacement project saw the transition from a Davinci Bellaforte roof to a Brava Slate, chosen for its durability and appeal.
  • FL Specialty Roofing headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Fla., for a project using Brava Spanish Tile in the color Tuscan Clay. This project involved the replacement of numerous broken and faded concrete tiles, as well as dented and faded metal tiles. The result is a stunning roof with a custom terra cotta metal package and trim.
  • Gunner Roofing out of Greenwich, Conn. for an installation of Brava Cedar Shake in the color Sierra. This homeowner, tired of the maintenance associated with a cedar roof, opted for Brava for its durability and beauty. The detailed installation, including bell roofs, spires, and a cupola, resulted in a breathtaking final product.
  • Hightower Industries LLC headquartered in Pensacola, Fla., for their use of Spanish Barrel Tile in Black/Brown.
  • Horn Brothers Roofing headquartered in Denver, for the use of Brava Spanish Barrel Tile in the colors Slate and Blue.
  • Ledgewood Roofing & Construction headquartered in Ocala, Fla., for the use of Brava Slate Tile in Gray.
  • Master Craft Roofing out of San Jose, Calif., for the use of Cedar Shake Weathered Tiles in a beautiful Los Altos Hills home.
  • Options Exteriors out of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, Minn., for a home roof using Old World Slate in the color Arendale. The homeowners had a specific look in mind and noted that this beautiful project has become the talk of the neighborhood.
  • Orca Roofing & Exteriors out of Bellevue, Wash., for a project using Brava Shake in Lake Forest. A cedar shake roof was replaced with Brava, chosen for its realistic appearance and resilience.
  • Paradigm Roofing headquartered in McKinney, Texas, for the installation of a Slate Tile roof in the color Washington. The Chandler Center, a historical property in San Antonio, received a durable and historically appropriate roofing solution with Brava Slate.
  • Precision Construction & Roofing out of North Richland Hills, Texas, for the use of Brava Spanish Barrel Tile in the color Aged Mission. A new construction installation showcases the beauty of synthetic tile in a traditional style.
  • Roof Life of Oregon out of Portland, Ore., for installation of a Brava Cedar Shake roof in the color Sierra. The roof transformed from a traditional cedar shake to a beautiful, and more durable, Brava roof.
  • Roofing and Siding of Cape Cod and Boston LLC for their use of Spanish Barrel Tile in the color Tuscan Clay on a Marion home. The replacement of an original clay roof with Brava Tiles enhanced the curb appeal of the Spanish-style property.
  • Sharp Exteriors out of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, Minn.,  for the installation of Cedar Shake in the color Natural. Replacing an original cedar shake on an amusement park property, the Brava roof had stunning results.
  • Smart Roofing, Inc. out of Chicago, for their use of Spanish Barrel Tile in the color Arendale. A full renovation of a classic home in the historic Rogers Park neighborhood was completed with a new, synthetic Brava roof.
  • TrueWorks Roofing out of Houston, Texas, for a Spanish Barrel roof in Black/Brown Blend. This unique installation in the April Sound neighborhood in Montgomery, Texas, also won the Residential Roofer of the Year award.
  • Universal Roofing and Exteriors based out of Indianapolis, Ind., for installation of a multi-width Old World Slate roof in the color Welsh. This beautiful Tudor-style home on a golf course was transformed with a new Brava Slate roof.

"These outstanding projects exemplify the craftsmanship and dedication of Brava Roof Tile contractors in delivering top-quality roofing solutions," Brava said in a news release. "Brava Roof Tile is proud to honor their commitment to excellence and contribution to the roofing industry."
